Session 1:  Warm up.

TASKS:
Students will do the starting activities to warm up and recover the background knowledge. They will be reminded to bring the summary of points 1,2,3 and 4 for the next class.
Los alumnos realizarán las siguientes actividades iniciales de calentamiento para el rescate de saberes previos. Se les recordará que para la clase siguiente deberán traer el resumen de los puntos 1 ,2,3 y 4 de los apuntes.

  1. Let's get started! (10 minutes). ¡Comencemos!
    Students will create a cover of this lesson on their notebooks which contains the name and number of this unit and a representative drawing.
    Los alumnos elaborarán en su cuaderno una portada (cover) del tema incluyendo el número de la unidad didáctica, el nombre y un dibujo que lo identifique y sea representativo de ella.
  2. Index. (10 minutes). Indice del tema
    Students will copy the main items of this lesson on their notebooks and they will leave the back of the cover in blank in order to complete it with the vocabulary of this unit as far as they don't understand or remember the meaning of words or expressions dealt at class.

Session 7:  IT review

TASKS:
Students must review and study everything learned up to this moment for the development of this session.
Los alumnos deberán repasar todos los apuntes del tema para el desarrollo de esta sesión de aprendizaje (Consolidación y refuerzo).
  1. LET'S GET STARTED. (15 minutes)
    Los alumnos elaborarán 2 preguntas de verdadero o falso y 2 preguntas del tipo "multiple choice" sobre cualquier parte del tema utilizando la hoja de calculo que se le ha facilitado para evitar que existan preguntas duplicadas.
  2. GRAN FINALE (QUIZ). (45 minutes)
    El profesor recogerá todas las preguntas y realizará algunas de ellas escogidas al azar.
    Los alumnos anotarán en su cuaderno las respuestas a las preguntas y aquellos 5 alumnos que obtuvieran mayor numero de respuestas correctas obtendrán una recompensa de cara al exámen.

  6. Memory units and storage devices (characteristics, functions...). Unidades de memoria y dispositivos de almacenamiento (características , funciones...)
  7. Motherboard (Components) Placa madre (componentes)
  8. Types of software, main software, functions of the operating system. Tipos de software, principal software, funciones del sistema operativo
  9. Peripherals (definition and types). Periféricos (definicion y tipos)
  10. Computer Networks (definition, classifications, components). Redes de ordenadores (definición, clasificacion , componentes)
There will be 10 questions concerning to all issues worked at class. (At least four activities will be figures so that do not forget bring your pencil, rubber, ruler, set square, compass and protractor)
Habrán 10 preguntas relativas a todos los asuntos trabajados en clase. Al menos 4 ejercicios serán figuras por lo que no olvides llevar tu lápiz (incluso los de colores para reconocer las vistas del objeto) , goma, regla, conjunto de escuadra y cartabón, compás y transportador de ángulos.
